Karina Carrescia
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Karina Carrescia graduated from the National School of Fine Arts Prilidiano Pueyrredón in Buenos Aires. She has taught at the Accademia SantaGiulia in Brescia, Italy, where she also exhibited her work at Brescia´s Town Hall, and the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes Prilidiano Pueyrredón. She currently teaches at National University of the Arts in Buenos Aires (IUNA), and offers workshops on painting and drawing at her studio in Buenos Aires. Her prizes and awards include Artist of the Month Award from Sundvall Gallery, Helsinki, Finland; 1st Prize in Painting, III Bienal City of Beccar; 1st Prize in Drawing, Vicente López House of Culture; ARTE BA Fair; 1st Award in Drawing, XVI San Isidro Drawing Contest. S.Isidro House of Culture; 1st Award in Drawing, “Núcleo de Arte” Gallery. Karina Carresca has had solo shows in Las Vegas, Brescia, Italy, and Buenos Aires. Website: karinacarrescia.com.ar/
